About Me
Jessie Radowitz
she/her
Hi, I’m Jessie! I am an executive function coach and former elementary school teacher. I began my teaching carrier in 2009 in a first grade public school classroom. Eager to further develop my teaching philosophy and deepen my commitment to teaching for social justice, I moved to New York City where I received my Master’s in Curriculum and Teaching at Columbia University, Teachers College. I then spent eight years teaching in Quaker schools in San Francisco and most recently, Philadelphia.
Throughout my time in the classroom, I observed that when my students had the opportunity to hone their executive function skills, they thrived in school. This realization has made me passionate about the impact executive function coaching can have on a child’s life. I have since transitioned from classroom teaching to focus exclusively on helping children foster the skills to become joyful, independent, life-long learners. Much of my coaching approach is inspired by the work of authors, Peg Dawson and Richard Guare, whose seminar and certification program I completed in the Spring of 2023.
I live in Philadelphia with my husband and our spirited toddler. When I am not coaching, I am often found tending to our tiny urban garden or walking on the Schuylkill River Trail thinking about the importance of preserving childhood.
